Custom Personas & Character Interactions
Your **Persona** is your identity within AI Scenario. It determines how characters talk to you, how they perceive your backstory, and how relationship dynamics develop over the course of your adventure.
1. Designing Your Persona
Inside the Persona Editor, you have access to several settings:
Give your persona a distinct name and upload a high-quality avatar. Your avatar is saved directly in your browser so it loads instantly inside your active chats.
Optimal Aspect Ratios:
- Profiles & Avatars: Use Portrait (3:4 or 4:5) formats to highlight faces and upper body details beautifully, matching the high-fidelity character sheet overlays.
- Extra Album Slots: Use Square (1:1) formats for alternate views, closeups, or expressions.
- Covers & Banners: Use wide Landscape (16:9 or 21:9) formats for sweeping background scenes or landscape banners.
Contrast & Colors: Choose illustrations with dark, moody, or atmospheric backgrounds. Avoid solid white backgrounds to preserve the premium glassmorphic dark-mode style of the suite.
Define your core behavioral traits (e.g. "Stoic, highly analytical, cautious, with a quiet undercurrent of dominance."). The AI references these traits to align dialogue tone and actions.
Document critical facts about your origin, skills, or factions. For example: "A decorated tactical officer belonging to the Vanguard Syndicate who bears an involuntary neural scar."
2. How Personas Influence Characters
To ensure characters interact with you naturally, the AI automatically adapts based on your persona details:
| Attribute | How It Guides Characters | Example Implementation |
|---|---|---|
| Social Standing | NPCs will adapt their vocabulary and deference (e.g., using honorifics or speaking with authority). | "Respected noble of Yamada's clan" |
| Physical Representation | Characters notice physical attributes in proximity (scarring, stature, expressions). | "Standing at 190cm, with heavily scarred knuckles" |
| Dialogue Anchoring | NPCs respond to specific narrative styles or dialects (honorifics like 'Ka-Chan'). | "Responds to Axel with playful disrespect" |
When creating your Persona description, write it in the third person. This guarantees that when the AI incorporates the description into its prompt engine, it correctly references you as a distinct character instead of confusing your identity with the narrator.
3. Multi-Persona Management
AI Scenario fully supports creating and swapping between an unlimited number of personas. Different situations warrant different identities: swap from a battle-hardened commander to a humble investigator instantly. Swapping your persona updates all future dialogue and actions, allowing you to easily steer character perspectives on the fly.
Swapping a Persona inside an active chat does NOT overwrite previous message history. The historical records retain whatever avatar and name were active at the moment of generation, creating a beautifully consistent multi-character log.
